It is highly recommended that anyone taking up this sport starts out with flat water lessons from a qualified instructor. All our instructors are ASI ( Academy of Surfing Instructors) accredited and highly experienced SUP enthusiasts. The lesson will teach you the basics of Stand Up Paddle boarding, you will learn foot placement and stance, balance and board control, proper paddling techniques and lots more. No matter what your age, experience or level of fitness is you will be up and going on your very first session. We also will give advice on what equipment to buy to best suit your personal needs.
A beginners lessons to Stand Up Paddle boarding will give you an excellent foundation into the sport and teach you the skills needed to get started. You will learn the basics in a calm and safe area of Margaret River then put that knowledge into practice in the beautiful natural surroundings anywhere there is water.
We will supply a board, leash, paddle and sunscreen. Wear comfortable and suitable clothes for water activity- rash vest and board shorts or wetsuit if it is during a colder months. You also need to bring a towel, hat, something to drink and dry clothes (you may go for a dive).
